whilst trying to fix my cigarette lighter on my civic I decided to check the fuses and they are all fine but like an idiot I didn't realise you don't have to take them out and also like an idiot I had my ignition still on so now my PGM-FI, oil and engine check system light are all on.

any ideas on how I can sort this out or do you guys think I need to take it in? :facepalm:

Initially, try disconnecting the battery and see if it sorts itself out. If not, you may need to have a chat to Honda I'm afraid.

Yup, you will also loose some of your trip 'puter stat's - no bigee.

Tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. Checked and cleared a fault code and it seams to run fine but I've still got my warning lights on.
Really not fancying a trip to honda because they've never been much help

You may just have to bite the bullet and get over there. My concern is that by not disconnecting the battery you may have damaged the ECU - they will be able to tell you that by plugging in a diagnostic device I would imagine, and if the ECU is fine they should be able to sort the warning lights in the same way.

Turns out my car can fix itself, just after I set off to go to honda for diagnostics the warning lights went off. Fingers crossed they stay off
