Hi everybody,

I 'm going to order my new honda civic 5d 1.4 sport (at last!) but i cannot choose the colour of the car. I love this car (as everyone in this forum) and i can't decide. I would appreciate it if you could upload some photos. I'm between black and silver. Any suggestions? Thanks!

NHB is a nightmare. Chips really easily (but then so does most Honda paint these days), is a nightmare to keep clean. In the summer it's covered in pollen minutes after washing it, in winter it might as well be grey.

Go for the silver. I'll not be getting another black car.

Get the nearest you can to the previous "Galaxy Grey" colour - mine is (almost) chip proof ...

However, all water-based paints are somewhat fragile - NOT just Honda's ! ...

I thought my bonnet had been resprayed on my Galaxy Grey when I bought it it had so few stone chips on it, but 30k miles later and it still hasn't really gained anymore at all.

Think the Urban Titanium is the nearest, agree re chips, hardly tell on mine

Urban Titanium is the closest to Galaxy Grey you'll get. Looks dam nice as well

I would say silver over the Black if you want it to look cleaner all year round, but a NHB when polished will always look better IMO than the Silver. (I have Silver Sixth generation Civic which always look clean even in winter but my white type r shows up every spot of dirt)

Just chosse the colour you really want and you wont regret it :)
