Following a recent PDF problem I have tried on occasion to modify my driving style by holding the car in a lower gear to build up the revs hoping that this might prevent a return of the PDF clogging.
I have noticed a marked fall off in power around 4500 revs as if a limiter was preventing over revving.
As Honda engines are renowned for their high revving ability is this restriction in my case normal?

Isn't 4500 rpm enough for you in a diesel ;)

You're hitting the limiter
