Power steering failed after some recent warnings and because I was working on the Isle of Wight, I could not get it sorted quickly and drove a few days with no power steering........I now have biceps like Popeye!

Anyhoo......it turned out to be a bad earth behind the fuse box. Local Honda dealer sorted it, but it was £288 of labour to diagnose, find and fix the issue. Better than the cost and fitting of a new EPS unit!?!

Just sharing my experience if anyone runs into this problem and thinks it's gong to be a bigger and more expensive fix than it needs to be

Thanks for letting us know, isn't that always the way with honda! I've had some ridiculous quotes to investigate things, all it's lead to is me fixing the issues myself and not going them a penny, but in your case definitely better than a new eps unit!
