Looked at these in Halfords today and was told i'd need an additional interface lead? Was all for it until I was told the lead was £45 for 'standard' or £120+ if my model had an amplifier! Did you manage without?

Glad you re raised this thread Speedway, was only just thinking about buying one myself.

But I'm a little wary about bits of my dashbord being taken off and reattached. Last thing I need are any annoying rattles and squeaks, other than from the radio that is.

Would be very interested to hear not only from Shrek but anyone else who's had one of these installed and how they're getting on with it.

I took the one I got back soon after buying it got it just before xmas and they wouldn't book it in until after new year. What put me off really was the aerial and where to sit the radio adaptor plus not entirely convinced with Halford fitting it, they didnt seem to know much about the product or how it gets fit, I didnt feel I wanted to be a guinea pig. So I took it back and got a full refund which they were to there credit very good about it.

How much DAB is available in the UK?
Enough to justify the £150 price tag?

Surely a Ipod/mp3 player connection with all your own music and no adverts is better?

Be interested in finding out.
