Hi,

After owning both a 5 door 1.4 & 1.8 as well as a 1.8 Type S, I've finally taken the plunge and bought myself a FN2 Type R in Milano Red as my insurance finally dropped to a sensible price! Full service history, completely standard and owned by the last owner (mature) for 6 years!! The weather hasn't been great this week so didn't get the chance to wash it until today and it came out stunning.

First thing I bought was Heko Wind Deflectors, which only improve the styling and also let you open the window when it's raining!

Got those put on during the week after work and didn't open the windows for a couple of days to allow them to stick. Already been on the motorway and thought I'd open the window to test them. Perfect!!

Gave the car a good clean inside and out today before the rain ruined all my hard effort. Don't have any pics from today but have one I took when I got home with it last weekend.

Current plans are to keep it subtle but I'm sure that will change. Have ordered a Skunk2 gear knob and alacantra gear gaitor as the original is not in the best condition and also contemplating getting the rear quarter windows tinted

Thanks for checking this out! Any ideas appreciated

Reis

Afternoon all,

When I bought the car it had no mats in the front and only two aftermarket bright red mats in the back that didn't look too good. Managed to find myself a set of original R mats for a bargain price so had to get them. Received them today and just put them in the car. Before and after pics attached......Please ignore the dirty seats and tatty gearknob, they're on the list to be sorted!

Spent a few hours today cleaning the engine bay as it was filthy. Started off using a sponge to remove any easy dirt wherever I could get my hand. Then I used an engine degreaser that really finished it off and got rid everything! You could see the dirt running off, quality stuff! Anyway, here's a before and after to show you the difference...

Not really an update. However, me and my dad took our cars out earlier today and managed to get a pic of them together.

Honda Prelude 2.0 4WS LTD Edition, showing as the only one in the country on howmanyleft.co.uk, must admit it drives beautiful and turns a few heads when we're out in it

P.S. Sorry for the crappy phone quality...

seen your car in the flesh mate and its nice and clean, i did spot the red carpets you had in the boot, they were really bright and it was dark, you might want to put in one of them short shifters in your car from a member called butler on here, the short shifter he makes is really good quality and definitely improves the gear change, i can give you a hand if you ever decide to do that mod, as your only 20 mins away from me, and yeah the skunk 2 gear knob is good, i brought a genuine weighted one from a member on here, well worth the money, you never told me you dad had a hidden gem of a car, what a stunning car, i love my older cars
