Hi, just bought my first used civic 1.8 v-tech petrol and noticed that with air con off the rad fans are constantly cycling on-off even when cold and sometimes just with ignition on and engine off, is it a normal condition? No warning lights on dash by the way.

Thanks I hope you are right because on all my previous makes of cars the fans only cut in on very hot days as the engine temp rises not when the engine is cold or normal temp. Is this something peculiar to Honda Civics and have you come across it before?
