Has anyone ever changed one of these, seems to be the only reason my auto wipers dont work and at £92 per hour labour charge at my local dealer will be doing it myself if its not too tough and anew sensor is not too expensive!!
You just un-clip the cover behind your rear view mirror, unplug the old sensor and insert the new one, should take you about ten min, but be careful as too much force could damage case as there is a clip that's glued to the windscreen.
I have the same problem, just did a sensor swap between to cars... still no luck. Auto function does'nt work on car one with either sensor (works fine in car two)
Also did a seperate fuse 38 swap.. no diff there either.
