Just wondering whether the FN2 rear calipers are different to the rear calipers on other models, or if they are interchangeable? I know the fronts are different, but unsure about the rears.

No idea, try to find out the part number, find a non honda oem part equlivant for it (googles), look at what other cars this non genuine part fits. I did the same for my drive shafts and got better after market "race" ones for cheaper than honda. But in your case you get to find out what fits. Out of interest, if you are thinking of changing it with something else the calipers wont say typeR on it anymore, why not upgrade them to bigger better ones? The stock ones are tiny at the rears.

Cheers, will try that. One of the rear calipers is binding so was looking for a replacement. It's only the fronts that say Type R on them, the rears don't have any branding on them.

Did some digging for part numbers for the rear calipers on various years and models. This is what I found:
2006 1.8 ES
43012-SMG-E02 R rear caliper - 43018-SMG-E02 complete assembly
43103-SMG-E02 L rear caliper - 43019-SMG-E02 complete assembly
42510-SNA-A01 disc
43022-SMG-E03 pads

2007 2.0 Type R
43012-SMG-E02 R rear caliper - 43018-SMG-E02 complete assembly
43103-SMG-E02 L rear caliper - 43019-SMG-E02 complete assembly
42510-SMG-E20 disc
43022-SMG-E03 pads

2009 2.0 Type R
43012-SMG-E02 R rear caliper - 43018-SMG-E02 complete assembly
43103-SMG-E02 L rear caliper - 43019-SMG-E02 complete assembly
42510-SMG-E20 disc
43022-SMG-E03 pads

2009 1.8 EX
43012-SMG-E02 R rear caliper - 43018-SMG-E02 complete assembly
43103-SMG-E02 L rear caliper - 43019-SMG-E02 complete assembly
42510-SMG-E20 disc
43022-SMG-E03 pads

2008 2.2 EX
43012-SMG-E02 R rear caliper - 43018-SMG-E02 complete assembly
43103-SMG-E02 L rear caliper - 43019-SMG-E02 complete assembly
42510-SMG-E20 disc
43022-SMG-E03 pads

Looks like all models use the same rear calipers, so they must be interchangeable. The only difference I could spot was that a 2006 1.8 ES uses different discs - not sure why this would be.
