Hi guys..Need advice.
My car has been damaged by a rear end bump.
The boot will close only with a good slam....It needs a repair.
Do you take it to Honda Or to a body repair shop?

don't get hung up on a Honda bodyshop. they wont do anything different than another bodyshop. it's just a name.

it is worth looking into bodyshops in your local area though. quality varies vastly and well worth paying a bit more for a lasting job. I've had poor fixes in the past from insurance approved places that only showed a few years later. I personally prefer independent places as they typically offer better value for money.

I agree. Because they're honda doesn't mean theyre better. My local dealer farms their bodywork out to the local car clinic.

I'd rather go on personal recommendation... if you know anyone that's had paintwork done before.

Dunno where your based, but if your midlands'ish then I'd STRONGLY recommend LW smart repair at alfreton!

Mine got a rear end whack last year, contacted Lee at LW and he advised that I could use anyone I choose at it was a no fault accident, he even had a leaflet to a company he deals with and told me to contact them and they'd take care of everything (which they did), happy ending for me as it got my car fixed and LW is one of the top body shops in the country so the work was done to an exceptional standard!
