Hi

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this as it is an electronic questions as well as an ICE questions.

I am wondering how you gain access to the rear 12v power point in the rear. cannot seem to work out how to remove it without taking off the whole rear quarter trim.

Yup that's right, you have to gut the back of the car. Enjoy

Great. Exactly what i was not wanting to hear

Is there anywhere else I can run the remote cable, that doesnt involved gutting the rear?

It's all hidden away under the trim, no way to get at it without removing the trim

If you don't want to gut the rear trim, then you could hook a feed up to the optional connector in the drivers side fuse box and run a cable back under the carpet along the sill.
