today i saw a 11 reg CTS of which i really liked the look of what seemed a low profile spoiler? is the CTS and the CTR rear spoiler larger/wideR? or are they the same. or does a low profile spoiler really exist as i do not want a saburu style whale spoiler.
i have never painted before so just thinking to buy any random colour cheapest spoiler and carbon wrap it?
and does it obscure the existing centre brake lights on my 1.8 ex?

Brief Boot Spoiler Fitting Instructions
1. Locate the two bolts near the gas struts which hold the perspex cover on
2. Remove these bolts and drill them out to allow the supplied bolts to pass through
3. Continue with the drill to pass straight through the perspex cover
4. Open the holes out in the perspex to around 20mm
5. With assistance using the supplied bolt check that they will enter the captive nuts in the spoiler
6. Remove the spoiler and the internal cover that covers the brake light and drill 2 x 5mm holes, one on each side of the brake light
7. Apply a rubber glue around these holes and the two outer 20mm holes and attach the spoiler with the supplied bolts, partially tighten down.
Hold the spoiler down in the center to touch the tailgate and pilot a 3mm hole through the two shall holes, either side of the brake light,
using the two supplied screws tighten the spoiler down.
8. Finally tighten the two outer bolts, until they go tight, do not go beyond this point as they are a set length bolt, purpose made for this spoiler
9. Spoiler now completely fitted.
