Following wont cover postcode or simply wouldnt give quote being honest in that couldnt come close to mainstream qoutes ive had

Greenlight
Chris knott
A flux
Brentacre
Sky

Any others that may be worth a shot

Cars an 2.2 07 diesel for me and mrs. No claims or convic. 0 points. Ive got almost 2 decades no claims and not young !
Manchester postcode isnt helping though

Wow, if your car is standard and you plan on keeping it that way then try Direct Line. They were by far the cheapest for me last year.

Think you will have to stay with the mainstream insurers or consider moving.

I just changed to Tesco Bank insurance, renewal quote from Admiral was a joke. Paid £470 for the Mrs as the main driver with business use and me as named driver on an unmodded 1.8, both age 30, 11,000 miles in total and she's only got one year no claims as she has only been the main driver since last year and I get the train to work now.

Got £50 cashback through Quidco so effectively it only cost £420.

Direct Line quoted somewhere in the region of £800...

Insurance is a lottery. I know news around that insurance hikes expected. Sadly difference in quotes between a few days meant qoute increased by almost £100.

Checked quote on prev car (bmw 320d m sport) and that had rocketed.

Gone with axa in the end
