Hi guys,
Does anyone have any tips for removing the rubber exhaust mounts at the back boxes?
I've changed to the type r trim, and now I've got the exhaust rattle.

I've got stiffer exhaust mounts, but the old ones are really hard to get off.
I'm thinking of using a small saw to cut through them horizontally.

Anyone suggest an easier method? I've tried spraying with wd40.
Taken rear bumper off too for easy access.

Just cut the old ones if you have a new set mate.

Stanley knife or a hacksaw blade will do the trick.

Spray them with silicone lubricant at the area the steel supports pass through.

I did my 5DR Type R conversion at the weekend and I too have an exhaust rattle. The tail pipes are touching the Type R exhust trims. Do you mind sharing the fix you are trying and where you got the parts from?
