to anyone that has had this off I.e to fit a mugen wing:

How does it come off? where is it bolted on? or is it glued on?

and once its off is it easy to put bakc on?

I'm sure it's bolted on Rob. If you're getting TDI or someone to fit the Mugen for you, I'm fairly confident they take your old one off for you.

no mate im just taking it off so i can use it to fabricate the basis for my CK fin.

Im going to make something based on the seeker design but totally different (so i am adhereing to any copyright rules, the only similarity it will share will be the colour and the fact that it sits on the rear bumper)

therefore i need to be able to take my spoiler off and on again

It`s too easy to take off/put back on bud.

2 bolts either side of the tailgate next to the strut, then pop off the taigate trim and there are 4 bolts through the plastic rear window with 10mm nuts.Job done.

Thanks mate, Yes i have indeed! When i was younger my dad had a single prop 2 seater which he built from scratch.

I used to help him with the fabrication of parts and layup. He was a pilot in the raf so attention to detail was critical.
Its been a while since i have worked with it but im sure i wont have much trouble knocking a Seeker based fin up in a week or two.

If it comes together as planned and depending on my time frame, I will hopefully be able to make a plug from the one i make and try and get a few made up.

I would like to offer some them at a discount price for the others who got conned in the group buy.

they will be a fraction of the price of the seeker one as they will be a different design but hand made by myself.

Attention to detial is essential in my line of work.

I'm sure a few members will be interested with what your putting together.

Watch how you word it when you start your thread as putting " seeker based" could start a lot of legal crap.

Yeah, i understand it might raise a few questions.

However it will be quite different from the actual seeker one.
It will only share resemblence with the fact it sits on the rear spoiler.
It will be my own design and Is only being created as a result of our loss.
those that got mugged off for a fin by bravura speed will be getting one from me for a small cost.

Im making something good out of a bad situation, theres too many ***** eager to rip people off.
