Hoping for some guidance folks for FN2 fob.

Battery is dead however I can't get into the [sweary word] thing as the screw is shredded from what I can only think is a previous owners attempt to replace - He must have been successful at some point.

So, I can't get into it.

Firstly, is there a better way short of attacking it with a hammer?

If not, where can I order a replacement fob from and how do I reprogram?

You could try gently drilling out the screw head. Use a bit smaller than the screw head but wider than the screw thread.

Once the damaged head is off then the cover can be removed and the screw thread unscrewed with pliers.

In theory...
