I managed to install Google Maps for navigation and now very tempted to buy Sygic (currently £42, normally £93). Google Maps was installed by way of a 'hack' and it does the job but on the odd occasion it freezes and sometimes exits by itself. I have always used Google and find it very clear and like the way it recommends alternative route if there is traffic ahead. I did get to use Sygic on trial but that wasn't long enough to get a good comparison against Google. One thing that does stand out with Sygic is it fills the right hand side of the screen with menu buttons unlike Google.Hi my 2015 Tourer with 6SC4 Connect Head Unit does. Have successfully installed Sygic sat nav to it as it came without navigation.
so how do I do a factory resetI can agree with kremmen on that, as I've said elsewhere, I'd get all manner of dubious routes until I updated to RC8 with a factory reset.
Since then, it's been perfectly good

As M8 says, the updates you're thinking of are the GPS Map updates - Those are ~5 years from purchase, released early each year - You'll find they come out for certain around March.so how do I do a factory reset
and does this remove any updates it might have
so how do I find if mine has been updated to rc8As ** says, the updates you're thinking of are the GPS Map updates - Those are ~5 years from purchase, released early each year - You'll find they come out for certain around March.
Factory resets roll back intermediate updates performed using the honda app store on the unit, but not major versions - RC6, 8 etc.
When you are next in for a service, ask for the RC8 Update - They should do it free of charge; They'll reset the unit for you and pop on RC8. If you ask them nicely, they may even do the maps for you - Though they can be done yourself.
What happens when self driving cars have such suicidal thoughts? Perhaps there will be a panic "RESET AI EMOTIONS" Button in place of a horn?on way back from shopping tonight I went out off town and travelled same road it was trying to get me to turn off side of a bridge
