Hi!

I just discovered that my Civic has been scratched. Can you please guide me with a process and also a repairing kit to fix the paint? The color is nighthawk black.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Auto glym paint renovator will get the majority out providing it's not gone through to the primer, give it a coat of sealer after cutting back and then build it back up with a good wax. Machine cutting will be the quickest however if they are really deep it may need a new paint.

If you can feels ridges with your fingernail then it looks like its down to the basecoat. If its just surface then it may polish out ok.

I'd start with Meguiars scratch X or similar, then a lighter compound like ultimate compound or even Farcela G3, then autoglym SRP.
