Hey guys,

I'm looking for a clutch for my Type R

But I have really no idea, which clutch is good.

I search a clutch that is designed for about 250PS/250NM(184lbs/ft).
Or should it rather just take such a pad instead has a full plate?

Price and performance should match

mugen cooper fiber, toda, spoon, exedy stage 2, carbonetic, Competition Clutch, etc

From the above the cheaper are probably Competition Clutch or exedy

i have the mugen and i like it.

no, toda is not exedy stage 1 (that is a OEM spec).
probably is very similar to stage 2 but not the same.
Exedy makes almost every k20 clutch for other brands (ogura also makes) but to their specs.

Yes, I also believe that Toda kits are Exedy rebranded, but with upgraded specifications over regular Exedy ones, I guess.
Not the same ones.

The Toda sports kit could be an uprated Exedy stage 1 (organic fiber disc), and the Toda metallic could be like an uprated Exedy stage 2 (metallic disc).
