Hi there Civicinfo forum, i have a rather peculiar predicament i`m in at the moment as i have recently acquired a new dog. A dog, i hear you say, who cares about a dog, but it all started when i bought the said pooch on thursday. We picked the dog up and have been using the car a fair bit this weekend because of the lovely weather we`ve been having here in Somerset. I have plugged in one of these harness seat belts to keep the dog safe in transport and now i can`t seem to get the harness belt out of the car seatbelt buckle. I own a 2007 Civic and have been using the car to transport the kids and family about for a month or so now, so i know the seatbelt worked fine before i put the harness seatbelt bit into it. The button is hard to press down and i can`t seem to fore the harness out, so i`m wondering if there is some kind of release button on the actual mechanism inside the buckle attachment ? ? I`m thinking of going back to Honda where i purchased the car but i don`t want to be stung with a £50+ bill just for 5 minutes work, that`s simple to D.I.Y ! ! ! Can anybody please help me with a link or info to fixing this problem ? ?
