I am wondering when to service my car its done 19,100 miles and is 4 years old in march. It was serviced in September when I bought it. I am not sure if it was a full service or not, the salesman said to me you will be pleased to know its been serviced. I haven't done much mileage since buying it around 700 tops. The motor oil is very clean as I have trouble seeing the level on a orange dip stick

The nearest Honda dealer is Marshalls in my home town. I didnt get car from them

Thanks

Have thesevintervals been stamped by the dealer or are they still blank, your answer is confusing, if it has only done 19000 miles it cannot have the 27000 actually stamped.it advises in the handbook the miles or time intervals that servicing should be carried out

Is it as long as that. I normally get my car serviced annual regardless of mileage. A friend normally does it that works for himself so is unable to stamp the book
You do get it serviced annually, as a minimum, with the way the intervals are set up - the interval is 50k miles or 4 years, whichever comes first.

yes with previous cars I have had I always do it annually I dont do a huge amount of miles around 3-4k tops. I tend to get a mate who does it I know he wont rip me off he does it on a lock up he has and is qualified mechanic. I am not sure I have him do my civic as car would hold it value better if it was stamped. Most of the cars I have were old. my last old mk1 focus just over 10 years old but mint condition

Civic servicing intervals are 12,500 miles or 12 months WHICHEVER comes first. The 9,00 mile intervals are for S2000 and Legends and are in the book purely so Honda didnt need to print 500 different types of servicing book.
