Top bloke....saw you today in London and we had a chat at the traffic lights on commercial road. Afterwards we continued on our route (which coincidentally was similar) all the way via the A13...

That was me mate. Good little chat we had, and great example of a Civic you have. I live off the A13, what a coincidence ha.

Good to see you buddy.
Same here buddy...It was great catching up at the lights

I also stay off the A13....would keep an eye open for you when I'm out and about....love your civic also (the atomic DRL lights looked nice and your sports grille was the bomb!!!)

Cheers

Ohh...I also just remembered...I have the auto-microphone for the Pinoeer AVIC F930BT double din. If you need to make use of it let me know and we could hook up and get it sorted...

What do you mean by auto mic? Give me a bit of heads up. Sounds interesting!!!
Okies...with the auto mic you can get an auto equalizer set up by the system...its brilliant....better sound and just so cool..and to be honest...it's hot cake!!
Link below explains more:
CD-MC20 - Auto-EQ Microphone for Car DVD Receivers | Pioneer Electronics USA

Anyone want to sell or let me borrow a Pioneer Auto-EQ Microphone? - Tacoma World Forums
Can you give me an idea of how I could benefit from this pls? Not really a sound guy, and going through some fo your post's looks like you know you're stuff. Sorry for the endless questions!!
Okies...(sorry it took a long time for me to reply)...I was sorting something out at work...

So here goes, within the Pioneer Double Din, there is a section under "audio source" or "audio settings" that has the tab "auto Eq". You are now wondering what this does...well the Pioneer double din has the usual settings for Super bass, powerful, natural, vocal, flat and custom 1 and custom 2.
I guess you have tried each one of them and maybe settled for one of it but to be honest none of them would be as great as the one done by the "auto equalizer microphone".
What this does when you connect it is a few minutes process. You connect it and then it tests all the speakers and based on the size of the car and the door panel space it would adjust all the settings. You would then have a beautiful, clear sound from the pioneer system.

No probs mate for the delay. You have been very helpfull.

Right!! I get it now, and is something I will be interested in for sure. I have freeview and the kids also like to watch DVD's. Will it work in the same way?

Really like the sound of the mic.
Yup...it's a one of process...we just connect it (it connects to the ipod cable)...it does it's "magic or juju" and thats all. Afterwards we disconnect it and it's all good to go.

When I get off work I would take pictures of all of the above (the cable, the microphone and some pictures of my double din with the auto system set up and then you can decide if you wanna make use of my microphone to set up yours)

That would be great mate. Its just a one off use, or would you suggets I buy one?
Don't buy one...thats like £25 if you are lucky. I am happy to let you use mine (I also tried to get someone to let me use their's but few people that had it were miles away from me).
And yes it is a one off use
That would be brilliant!! let me know when you have time. I work 9-5 Mon to Fri.

Mate you have been a great help. Really appreciate your offer.

Thanks!!
Nice one....I work shift. However I am off this Friday..so anytime on Friday is fine with me...we could meet up anywhere u wish....
Cool dude, once again thanks for your help. I may be able to meet you at a place of your choice on Friday. Seeing we both live off the A13. I won't be able to stay very long, as I'll be with my kids too. Wife will be at work. Let me know mate.

What filling station is closest to you?...or shopping mall (ASDA, Tesco, Sainsburys?)....put up a Google link here when you can and I would take a look...

Also I have attached the pictures I promised to this post...

Picture 1: I-pod cable that you should have connected to your double-din. Hopefully you have this installed already.

Picture 2: Auto Equalizer Microphone connected to the I-pod cable

Picture 3, 4 and 5: System menu for the auto equalize.

Picture 6: How your Equalizer looks now

Picture 7: How it would look after the auto equalizer procedure.

Thanks for the complements mate...I have had loads of help on here also, so it's nothing to be honest....

ASDA would be great....fewer prying eyes and we would not look like nerds or crooks (car-park in Lakeside is always dead...:p).

I would send you my number by PM...so just give me a heads up before you start making your way to ASDA and I would meet you there...

Cheers bruv and hopefully we get to set-up your pioneer system soon...
