Right next week in going to install two gauges , however when I install the oil plate.i will loose around 0.5-1 ltr of oil,

Would it be fine to top up with 5-30?? Only just been serviced, or get a clean bowl from shop and catch the oil?

I would think the best idea would to add fresh oil rather then recycle old oil

Add a little at a time to reach the desired level, don't forget to turn the car over for a bit during though to fill the filter ( close the oil cap obviously)

As said definately top up with fresh oil.

It was serviced with 0:30, gone for pro sport.

I believe as long as you dont mix synthetic with mineral oil you should be ok with topping it up. Anyone else confirm this?
