My pedals are all metal and do not give me confidence especially if I have wet shoes. Is there a way to rubberise them for more sure footed grip?

Also wet shoes on metal make the pedals squeek.

Thank you Daz.

Has anyone got a how-to guide? I have never used a rivet gun but more crucially would not know how to remove the existing rivets!

Riveting gun ordered. Seems handy to have. I am also going to order the cheep all rubber solution. Seems better for the job than steel with tiny rubber bits that apear to have only lasted about 30,000 miles! Will decide what pedal covers after they arrive.

Thanks for your help.

Actually, all your banter has reminded me of my ethos of keeping all my cars 100% original in case they become a classic. That ain't going to happen with the Civic being so popular but my Yaris T-Sport one day could be a jap classic.
