Changing my brakes over today, all was going well until I snapped the lower 12mm caliper bolt!!!! the remainder of which is lodged in the piston type section and as the bolt is stainless steel I can't drill it out!

Can you get just a new piston section for the caliper carrier? Is it a Honda job?

I know Rob I know! :)

It was going fine till I put the calipers back on and the bottom slider bolt sheered half way!

Managed to get a new slider bolt housing from the scrappy though so hopefully it'll fit!

Stud extractor probably wont work as you need to drill a hole first.

When this happens at work on machinery I weld a nut onto it.
But I 'm guessing you cant really do that in this case.
