I see there is lots of threads on speaker upgrades new and old, but when I was looking for new speakers to replace a blown one I have to confess I didn't know what I was looking at to get a good quality sounding speaker.
So did a bit of reading and come up that I should be looking at the info below to get a better speaker. Is this info true/correct?
But then someone mentioned about magnets and bigger the better but then there is micro/strong magnets now etc etc to get a good deep bass sound. Can some one explain in layman's terms please?? and does size really matter??

Sensitivity - 90db +
Max RMS - 2 - 50
Material - polpopylene Mica
Tolerance +/- 3db
Weight - heavier the better
Range - 38-22,000
Impedance - 6-8 ohm
SNR - higher the better

Cheers

Still using the standard Head Unit?
I am, yes. Read that the pre-amp is no good with the standard head and a DD unit is the best way forward and improves sound. I'm just trying to understand speakers and how to buy a good set for quality and depth of sound.

Cheers
