please will somebodys advise on the best speaker adapter to use on the front and back speaker please?

Think people recommend the Astra speaker adaptor?
Not sure if this is what you mean. Will let others confirm

That's the plastic adapter isn't it I'm afraid of it rattling about

you can buy some MDF ring spacers from eBay for about £4 a set, rings about 25mm thick should be plenty to give clearance, but of course depends on the speaker you're fitting and its basket design.

DIY MDF rings are your best bet, acoustically.
