Hello Community,

on my search for an new ecu i found that Spoon has one for our R.
Maybe someone got one installed and can tell something about it?

Spoon declares that it will give an increase of power & torque but not how much.

Got my Manifold installed in a few weeks :)
THanks in advance

Get Hondata and custome tune, you will get more power/torque and better fuel consumption if you compare it to all Spoon/Mugen/J'S Racing ECUs.

I'm not aware of anyone thats gone for the Spoon or J's ECU's. Most people just get Flashpro as its fully customisable. I'm not 100% sure but I think the Spoon and J's both only work correctly if you've got Spoon or J's Racing parts fitted, like the J's ECU will have a preloaded map on it for a car with maybe a J's exhaust, manifold etc...

You don't need a laptop mate, all you do is download the Flashpro manager from Hondata, plug the Hondata Flashpro in your pc, register and update etc.
Then plug the Hondata Flashpro into the OBDII in your car, switch on the ignition but don't start, remove it from the car then plug it into your pc and lock it. Done :)
