Ive just bought a 2006 civic and the door handles squeak when i open them. I think its the spring in the actual door handle but i cant tell, nor do i know how to sort it out :(

Has anyo experience this problem? It only occurs when i squeeze the door handle to open it.

Also the centre console is squeaking when i pull it open.

Apart from getting a can of wd40 and spraying it everywhere i dont know what do.

Any suggestions?

Door handles usually quiet down with a squirt of wd then clear spray grease into the black handle area, don't be scared of spraying it in that area will do the moving parts good. It's our good British weather drys everything out. Hop this helps. :D:D

Need to get the interior door card off mate. Once off, peal back the white plastic and give the handle components a squirt with some lithium grease. mone have been squeak free for over a year now and they do open much easier. Even my 4 year old can open the passenger door now.
