My wife owns a 2007 2.2 ctdi civic & she told me tonight that the light in the start button is not as bright as it used to be, I dont drive the car a lot & if i do its normally at the weekends during the day so i could'nt really tell you how bright the button is, When the ignition key is in position 2 the engine start button lights up a little but not a lot, Ive checked the dash lights & both the settings for lights on & off are at maximum, What i want to know is could anyone check there start button the next time they are out in the dark & let me know if there button glows or is it just a little light which JUST show the engine start lettering ( pics would be great ) if anyone knows if the button is supposed to glow & know how to remove and change the bulb or led if it has one this info would be gratefully received.

Only the lettering is illuminated on mine to give a soft red glow, have never noticed it to be that bright tbh

and the light goes out once the engine has started.
