Installed the pioneer GM-D1004 amp today, use the connects harness to acheive this. After plugging it all in I had no power and realised the remote switch wasnt connected to anything. Connected it up to the ignition 12V.It now comes in but theres always a static noise coming from the speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated馃槉

Start by testing your RCA cables. Observe whether the noise is still there when either of the cables are connected. If it disappears once you disconnect a pair of RCAs, then look for a device called a Ground Loop isolator. That should solve your problem.

It's not connected via RCAs its connected via high input. I've pulled that out and theres still a static noise :(

Thanks! I think ive solves the issue, my model has a stock amplifier installed which I didn't know about!
