Hi guys,

Just fitted a new steering wheel with cruise control to my 2006 Civic 2.2 sport.

However, the car doesn't recognise the cruise function, all the other buttons/menus work fine but not the cruise. Is there a work-a-round for this or is it just a case of taking it to Honda to get it sorted?

Thanks for any help

Dan

No actually. Someone, not that i can remember who now, told me that its all inbuilt in the car and its a matter of getting the right controls on.

Is that the case?

If your car did the come with cruise, then I very much doubt that you have all the other gubbins on the car already to make cruise work.

Cruise has to be enabled. If it didn't have cruise before, adding the steering wheel only will not enable it. There's a switch at the clutch pedal which must be present, and the loom needs to be set up for it. No idea if it can be enabled after the fact.
