OK I'm sure this has been brought up 1000s of times before but from your personal experience what is the BEST non-professional solution to removing/hiding stone chips, something I can do myself..at home.
I've got a Milano Red Type-R and it pains me to see the stone chips on the bonnet, and none of them mine as I purchased the car with 2,500 miles on it.

Touch up paint and lacquer from dealer or body repair place.
Clean the area thoroughly with 99% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) - not the 70-75% Rubbing Alcohol - or Panel Wipe.
Touch in chip with cocktail stick or syringe needle.
Dry with a hairdryer on low heat for 5-10 mins or so, then apply lacquer same way 'til it's proud of the chipped area.
Blow dry as above for 20 mins - not too close or with concentrator nozzle on (same for paint) - then leave for the next 2-3 days before flatting back with wet 2K and 4K wet & dry.
Once level with the surrounding area again, polish back up to full lustre.

If you need 2K and 4K, I've some spares you can have for a few beer tokens.

What a shame.

It's so easy to believe what they say on them labels!

Always practice on an inconspicuous area first, special on a multi grand Spaceship!
