Can I ask other forum members how they are tackling the stone chip problem,,,mine is 3 months old now and has picked up a few on the bonnet and O/S door, I must say this does not bode well for the future.

Personally I use a cocktail stick to apply paint into the chip until it is slightly raised above the level of the rest of the paint. once it is thoroughly dry I use some very fine wet and dry to flat it off and then polish the area back up with some auto-glym resin polish. I had to do it last week on my first stone chip. :( But you can't see it now :D

It's not for the fainthearted, and you need to be careful not to rub paint off the surrounding area. i can imagine it would be a very tedious job to do several in this way though.
