just bought these from abp anyone else got them? how do you rate them?

is there a specific bedding in procedure to follow?

I bought them as i am now sick of the constant brake fade the mintex pads give me under pressure. They were cheap and can see why.

hopefully the stoptechs will be better

Rob mate, I got these with yellow stuff.

Possibly the best upgrade I've done on brake other than changing the calipers.

They seem to be quite hard wearing and provide excellent braking both cold and hot.

Not sure about those pads but go easy for the first 100 miles or so.

Update after a months use...
I fitted these myself, wasnt too bad with the aid of penetration fluid to remove tight bolts. Rears were a lot trickier though.

took me an hour to do the fronts and about two for the rears.

stoptech powerslot disks all round, stoptech pads front, redstuff rears.

first week or two they were pretty much the same as the old mintex brakes, I was a bit dissapointed.

then slowly they started to get better... to the point where i can nail it up to a sharp corner in full vtec at about 70mph and have enough time to slow right down smoothly.

They are amazing.

(i also have do luck lines)

Now i just need to do a fluid refresh and bleed them to get the best results.

Are these the oem size discs that are grooved? Does the disc guard have to be removed or is it just a straight swap over with these discs?
