This may be a stupid question but do you really need a flashpro to remap a CTR? as I see it surly you just use this to install the map / flash the ECU so if you never intended to mod the car again then I guess you could just have this mapped once at less cost.

yes you can just flash the ecu, there is a thread on it started by f6had have a look as he can do it if you post ECU to him..

Isn't this just for Diesels? Thought f6had was a diesel man? As far as I am aware, the Honda ECU can't be flashed, only the flash pro can be flashed. Obviously, like all things, there's alternatives out there.

Alternatively, you can get the Group N ECU although this is a 1 trick pony, its got a map on it, that can't be altered.

Sorry, didn't see the link... yes i remember this now. Although pretty sure they heavily caveat what they do, if something happens to your ECU, then they are not liable.

Its a risk, but maybe worth a shot. Am sure they have plenty of happy customers...
