Looking at the pictures, these are snapping on the tubular section between the wheel stub axle and the torsion beam??

Have any of you guys who have had issues been in contact with Honda UK about it? Or even VOSA?

What's quite scary is that arm above doesn't even look to be badly corroded!

Unless I'm mistaken the examples that have been reported on the forum are either the diesel or the 1.8 petrol.
Not seen any TypeR issues reported yet?

No the arm isn't badly corroded at all, just surface rust. Very scary.

Wow this job is a bitch to do on jacks and stands. Got someone coming over tomorrow to help a gal out.

I'll report it but from what I've read they just deny its a problem as put it down to age. Going to sell the car once this is done. I've already replaced most of the front end suspension wise earlier this year. Great engines but im done.

This might be worth a shout.... report it to the DVSA

If DVSA is working anything like DVLA then hell will freeze over before you get an answer.
