Hey there Civic comrades,

I'm planning on swapping my OEM Stereo for something like this Pioneeer SPH-EVO62DAB.
I am aware I need something like this adapter to preserve the AC info display and steering controls - Connects2 CTSHO002.
+ The panel fascia to fit the 2 din unit.

Just wanted to ask, are these compatible?
Another question is, are the OEM speakers compatible with this radio? Do I need to upgrade them or use an AMP or something?

Looks like that control module will work with your car if you have a fn model. You will need the fascia kit in order to fit the head unit, there are a few companies that sell them as a kit. You may have to file down some plastic in order for it fit 100 percent.

The standard speakers are compatible with any aftermarket radio as long as you have the correct harness adaptor. You will get a pump in sound quality with the new headunit due to the fact it can provide more power to the speakers. If you want better sound quality, start with sound deadening the doors, if this doesn't meet your needs then id recommend replacing the speakers and running them from an AMP.
