Hi, iv recently replaced the standard civic main beamm, dipped beam, side lights and number plate bulbs for ice blue xenon look ones. Makes a big difference. Was wondering if anybody has replaced there rear side light and brake light bulbs to LED ones? do they make much of a difference as they are red and the rear light covers are tinted or are they noticabley brighter?

Also same question for indicators

Do not get LED brake lights because they are not as bright as the normal ones and can and will void warranties.


I use White LED on my number plate ones for the time being.

7443 is the dual filament T20 bulb you need.

IMHO, the eBay LED specials are a waste of money. Bloke at work bought some for the tail lights on his Prelude. It took him all of 5 seconds to decide to put the filament bulbs back in.

At the end of the day, they are cheap LEDs and really aren't suitable for much beyond license plate lights.

I have dual element led bulbs on the rear of my bike and they work really good. I have been told they are really bright and with a red cluster.

I kind of get what you mean lol...

Yes, a lot of the cheapo Chinese one are low quality and don't last long... Osram and CREE are generally very good.

Those look awfully cheap! Good to know they make them, might have to find some decent quality ones

Get the 3w T15 ones for reverse.

They wont look good even with the colored cluster lens, trust me
