I've done exactly the same thing after upgrading the bulb to an LED. Try something thin and sturdy like a thick cable and perhaps bend it into the form of a hook. I've tried using a coat success with no success :(

I have also lost my bulb somewhere behind the dash. I cant feel it at all either so I wouldnt no where to start with a coat hanger and hook.

Anyone succesfully removed the glove box?

After about 1 hour of fiddling in the dark Ihave solved the problem!

All I did was firstly Pop off the trim to the left of the glovebox if you are sitting in the passenger seat.

Then you can see through little gaps into the compartment above the glove box.

Turn on your lights (If your light still works you should see it glowing.. if not just look for the bulb or a black wire as thick as an aaa battery.

I then used a coat hanger straightened out with a tiny hook to fish through the gap in the removed trim and pull the black wire as hard as possible.

This repositioned the bulb close to the hole in the glove box.

From there it was just a matter of hooking the bulb with another tiny hook on a straightened coat hanger from the hole in the glove box (watching my progress through a hole in the trim!

Hope this makes sense

Managed to gain access to the wire over the weekend. There are 2 philips screws at the top and 2 push clips. Remove all 4 and gently prise the top of the glove box down. This should give you a big enough gap to gain access to the wire and bulb.

The Push Clip

The parting with the 2 screws and 2 push clips removed.
