Another pretty epic weekend at the drag strip for Japshow Finale for the Tdi North backed cars with Adam and Dougie competing in the final round of the Jap Drag Series and many of our customers putting their cars on the strip for some RWYB action.

Adam had a really good day where he was consistently fastest and Dougie was running well with a 2nd hand stock motor that had done over 125K miles before we popped it in his car for the final round after his 2.2BC motor dropped a valve at the Outlaw a few weeks before.

We finally got Adam and Dougie head to head in the final where Adam took the win with a 9.9 run and Dougie managed a stunning 11.2 run.
The final round ended with Adam taking the series win and Dougie as runner up.

Afy in his turbocharged EP3 with just the back seats removed also won fastest Honda at RWYB competition with an 11.2s run…..and the box and clutch is still in 1 piece!

This event and the win has finished a pretty unbelievable season of drag racing for us in what is our first serious year of managing, preparing and supporting our customers cars at the track with the invaluable partnership we have with Adam’s own company DAR.
If someone said at the beginning of the year what we would have achieved we wouldn’t have believed it.

Massive well done to Adam, consistently the car to beat and still running on pump fuel and limited boost due to ignition limitations. Both which should be changed next year so expect to see him going much faster as we can start to wind it up!

Well done to Dougie. Still championing the Supercharger option and being competitive when everyone else opts for the Turbo setup. Fully built motor next year. (Old one was still a stock non-lined block but running the BC2.2 engine kit) gearbox and some pretty trick nitrous setups and we are aiming for 9’s with this.

Lee Walker and Afy. Both taking the RWYB wins at Japshow and Japshow Finale and joining us next year in competetive racing. Both achieved big jumps in their PB’s and really enjoying their cars.

Finally a heartfelt thanks to everyone behind the scenes that made all this possible.
Neil, Ben, Louis, Ged and Louisa for all the hard work and long hours in building, preparing and tuning the cars, and Adam, Ange, Dave, Clive and all respective partners for giving us all the trackside support and logistics work that made the events what they were.

Pictures and videos to follow.

Thankyou
Paul

Anyone going to Flame and Thunder this weekend pop over and say hello.
We have been invited to run our car as a demo in front of massive crowds at this event alongside jet cars, drag bikes and top fuelers as we have dominated the drag scene in 2011!

We have wound the boost up a bit more but still restricted by the stock ignition system but we are hoping to better or 9.9 a 153mph trap.
Might even use the parachute! :)

We are also planning on running Bens turbod EG with the TDi North turbo kit so will be interesting to see how that goes as well.
