This is doing some tuning work at limited boost as we couldn't hold anymore than 650bhp on the rollers before the Flame and Thunder weekend where we went out and did a 9.7second run.

Loads more in this baby!:D

This will be running in the Jap Drag series at Santa Pod
We are planning on entering our FN2 into Time Attack this year in NA FWD and also for the first time a car into the Pro class.

I take it that's the grey EP3 your entering into the pro class, you've ran that car a few years now. Any pictures specs on the FN2 that your running? Thanks

There is a full spec list somewhere on the FN2. It's a built 260bhp Toda engine with loads of Toda and Mugen goodies.
It's actually a Leon we are running in pro. It's owned by DAR which is Adams company who also owns the drag car. Should go pretty well. :)

That thing must be nigh on uncontrollable when the boost comes in, you can hear every time the turbo spools up it just goes barking mad!!!!!!!![smilie=lil_red_dev:

Adam says its pretty controllable.... For a 1000bhp FWD car!
It squats and runs dead straight even with a blowout at over 140.

Until something snaps like a 1000bhp driveshaft that threw it into a wall a couple of years back anyway. :)

Adams car is a monster. Put it this way, he munched through several competitors in the Outlaw series with no 2nd gear available and still won it. :D. It was a great day out and testament to how good this car really is. :)

I'm hoping to one day hitch a ride in it. Hint hint!!!!

Neil would know better as he looks after it but we do tend to strip it down after every year.
It was built same time as dougies and done about 4 years now. Dougies let go when a Ti retainer pulled at the Rotostock event. **** happens at 10,000rpm!
I'd highly recommend against titanium retainers unless your regularly stripping things and for race applications only.

That milisecond weight savings ended up costing about £4K in a rebuild.

Ouch

What retainers do you use with slightly agressive cams ( A3 etc) for a road car and do they need inspected often ?
Honestly stick with Stock retainers every time. Its just not worth the risk.
Deffo do the springs and seats if necessary. Stock Honda parts are really very high quality.

Afterall many Spoon parts are just OEM in fancy box's ;)
