I have an intake, manifold and exhaust waiting to go on my car, I'm going to have the car remapped in early January but I have access to ramps tomorrow to fit the bits. Will the car run okay for the next 3 weeks? I know the exhaust and intake are fine, not sure about the mani though.

Cheers,

Liam.

Stay out of VTEC or heavy throttle to be on the safe side.

I was using TODA manifold+Milltek cat back for almost a year without tuning. Vtec or non-Vtec doesn't matter as the computer will always trim your AFR on non-WOT (closed loop). On WOT your car would be running lean so you should rather avoid that for that time.

Stay out of Vtec like said before but don't delay too much for the remap, otherwise your engine may rattle (don't know if it's the right word :/ )

Cheers guys, fitted the manifold and exhaust yesterday, not sure about the sound yet, ill have to see if it grows on me.

Has anyone else noticed how close the manifold runs to the water pipes, mine is literally 10cm away.
