The "What did you do to your car today?" thread

car got a decent wash, even though it was bloody freezing. went out this morning to find the biggest bird poo on my new j's bonnet! who taught ostriches to fly? usual 2 bucket method with megs nxt shampoo, hand dried with waffle towel, cleaned wheels arches out and dressed wheels. shiny shiny and numb fingers.

got up at 9 and stripped the old girl back a bit to check and regap the plugs, clean out the air filter ( scoopin intake should be renamed " hoover"). Chilled for a bit, got bored and started to fit my wideband kit, got the main body in the grounds tidied away and routed with the same tubing as Honda used so it cant be seen readily and earthed at the ECU point and the rest of the cables where they need to be, I'll maybe finish it tomorrow

What did you do to your car today?

Post anything from just washing or cleaning to mods near misses or whatever.

So let me start.

Changed it to Irish plates, fitted Heko wind deflectors.

Was going to give it a clean, but the weather was against me.
Will give it a go 2moz.

Oh and got a replacement locking nut key after I drove up a mates lane the other week with it still on .... doh

Got in and drove to the pool. Got back in and drove back home. got in again and drove the kids to a sleepover. Got back in and drove the Mrs to the local Tai restaurant. Got in after that and popped into tesco's. Got in and drove back home. Parked up and locked it. Left it filthy dirty.

Took the car down the Iraqi carwash for it's weekly clean.

Cleaned the inside windows, hoovered out found the missing red Skittle crushed under the rear seat AG Interior Shampoo made quick work of it, mats cleaned as well and dash and anything else that wasnt moving

Washed it, filled it up with V-Power, then proceeded to upset an M5 owner and a Focus RS.

As per usual with my cars robbo, I did b-gger all to it, except put it in the garage as it's firework night.

P.S. thanks for clarifying Robbo and (off topic) having only just got in from doing my car I am sincerely sorry for any ****storm I kicked up for you (and the mods) earlier in the COTM thread. Having read the three pages I need a lie down but I need to sit up due to all the Tai food in my belly

what did i do today?

Fitted my OMP front strutbrace.
Re-logo'd my older rear brace to match.
Fitted Spoon reservoir socks.
Fitted some blue dice dustcaps.
