Put 20 LTRS of V-POWER in the tank today which cost £30..... 149.9 per litre - I know pump prices have been going up but where's that come from??

I'm going to have to start shopping around for fuel again.

Yes I filled up with Super the other day in the other car, was shocked to see it was almost £1.50. Good job I only drive that car once a week or so. Otherwise I use Supermarket fuel.

I smeared some black dye on the bolster of my Civic's seat which had started to wear, might as well have used liquid shoe polish which would have worked out cheaper! The stuff I used had exactly the same consistency!

I always fill mine up at supermarket, Tesco momentum, I thought momentum was on a par with vpower with being 99ron, just slightly less additives if I’m correct.

Esso do a 99 ron as well but don't know how much extra that costs.

I went to clean the car yesterday morning and put the wet sponge on the windscreen and heard a thunk as a large crack appeared weaving up the windscreen. Autoglass dont have any appointments sooner that 10 days, if I went to one of their static shops the earliest was 13 days!

Then went on to replace the cup holder flappy section and epoxy a few of the interoor trim fittings that had snapped off.

That’s a wait and half 10days, can you not go through your insurance or is that through the insurance. I drove around for years in my old civic with a crack. Just used to watch it grow and grow till I had no choice but to replace lol. I don’t know what the rule is now concerning cracked window screen on mot, it used to be if it didn’t impede your eye line or was within a certain area length it would pass.

Its 115 through insurance and 650 without. There were a few minor issues with the windscreen so I'm not 100% gutted.

I believe all Super Unleaded has no Ethanol.

I shove regular 95 in my 1.8 Civic, I don't think it's anything specialist that will be affected by Ethanol, it's NA and relatively new tech. Even if it does create deposits, a good motorway run or a redline every tank of fuel should see it right.

Gave it a bit of a deep clean.
Rinsed and washed with meguiars gold class, then re washed with meguiars wash plus to remove all the old waxes and sealants.

I quick spray with iron X and wipe down with more gold class. I then coated it with meguiars deep crystal wax with my DA and then meguiars fast finish on top.
