Seems a little strange to be finding that, doesn’t even look like it’s covered in oil and bone dry.
It’s weird. It looks bigger in the photo than it actually is. It’s all stuck together but would separate easily. Just tiny pieces of metal stuck together

Serviced the car today. Old pollen filter was very dirty, last changed around 9 months ago.

Wipers were playing up and stopping in random positions. Bought a wiper motor from eBay which came complete with the rack for £25. Swapped the motor onto old linkage as old one was in better condition. All working fine now.

Also noticed a small blob of tiny metal shavings in the oil pan from the drained oil, haven’t seen this before

Looks like the stuff from the inside of a filter
Changed the rear brake pads, thought I’d try Brembo this time. Had pagid before. I’ll do the fronts next week.

I went the other way on our other car - I.e. Brembo to Pagid. Have to say I noticed no difference whatsoever.

Took the heat/stereo display out as it has played up again.
All the pins look okay after previous resolder in March except the first one on left side - first digit of dual temp display was gone on that side as a clue.
So resoldered it and though F*** it not going to add solder to the other 83 (!) so gave all the pins and both parts of the block connector a blast of contact cleaner.

So far so good..................................

If it goes again I'll find a TV/PC repairer.

Just avoid euro car parts ‘brembo’. They are the worse pads I’ve ever driven on 😂
Brembo label but a really cheap budget pad

Strangely enough we had more warranty claims on Brembo than any other.
My boss suggested I only bought Pagid.
I've left there now so have to pay full price 😢
I repaired a few stone chips on the front end and made a few worse but sanding through the lacquer! Paint is soooo thin

Kw v3 fully rebuilt, only original parts left are the rod and casing itself so as good as new.

Damper dyno results were also provided to me, new kw bump stops, new kw springs along with new top mounts/bearings.

All back on car now. After running very low for 7 years ive raised around 15mm as had enough of speed bumps

Geo done thanks to nev motorsport. Neil has done geo for me prob 3 or 4 times over last several years. Decided to run less camber up front than have done last 7 years. Simply dont have time for track days now and weekend fun so decided id go for setup aimed more at daily use. Also running softer setup on the the kw v3 now v last years 7 (tried several setups over the years). Gettin old now !. Takes me prob 15 mins to change all 4 corners damper and rebound if needed for weekend blast or trackday.

It’s at the motorist hub, was supposed to go there this Sunday with a few lads from work. We cancelled and possibly next week now, missed this one, only 45mins down road.
