Hey.

Some fo you may have seen some of my other threads on here recently, but I take ownersip of my 5 door milano red civic next week.

First on my list of mods was window tints, for the rear three, however I've had a mixed reaction from friends as to whether it will look good or not.

Some people believe this is a very 'chav' thing to do .... so I'm a little but torn....so, to tint, or not to tint, that is the question!

These are from my old Astra, with only the back done. Makes the car much more aesthetically pleasing IMO, and keeps it legal (ignore the sunstrip :facepalm

It all depends on the colour of the car. My Alabaster Silver EX had full tints on it when I bought it and it looks alright.

I've seen a couple of NHB Civics with just the rear windows done and they look a bit van like!

If it were me, I'd get the front sides done too, albeit in a lighter tint olice:olice:olice:

I might have a smooch through the gallery and have a look at some other milano red civics with tints to get an idea.

Mind you I was thinking of going for pure black tint, not just a light tint .... hmmm, decisions, decisions!

Stereotyping at it's maximum!

The car it is being applied to does play a part..

Vehicles clearly look better with tints.. IMO of course

Do you know what percentage that would be around?

I'm assuming the place I'm taking it to will let me see a selection of tint levels so I can choose the one I want.

Dark smoke would look good on a milano red IMHO. Then you can do the rear light cluster to match...

The bloke who did mine gave me a selection to choose from, I've got a NHB civic and went for the dark smoke, doesn't look like a van or to chavvy! Got the rear 3 done for £90 and really pleased with the result, at the end of the day it's each to their own, so just go with what you like mate
