Big increase in oil pressure, gauges show idle cold and part warmed up.

Plastic undertray removed exposing sump

Had fun removing pulley!

Standard pump

Copmarision of Toda and stock pump

Toda installed and oil gallery blanked off

toda replacement oil pump chain installed

Nearly back together

Mugen gauges at idle (cold)

Pressure nearly warmed up

Nearly back together Mugen socks latest addition

What are your overall thoughts after installing the pump and having driven the car, is the difference rather noticeable?

Oil pressure increased throughout the rev range, seems to spin up slightly quicker. Not noticed extra vibs, although car is not standard. [smilie=gt-happyup.:

I think I am nearly finally there.

Only think to do may be another mapping session since I have gone from CPL CAI to Mugen.

Used the crank pully holding tool and just hung off the end of it. My fault I was the last person to remove it when I fitted the cams.
Isnt it tightened to some amazing amount at the factory?

Car is looking good mate, all the best of the best fitted.

The pulley is only tightened to 47-49NM plus a further 90 degrees, but takes a fare amount of effort to undo when its been untouched for a while.

That explains why mine was such a nightmare.

Yeah, I would like to know aswell. I want to install an adjustable exhaust cam gear and I need to get access to the cam chain tensioner to lock it.
