Had exactly the same shyte happening to the CR-V as previously fixed in my Civic.

Torque converter lockup shudder in light acceleration - apparently caused by excess moisture in the ATF which spoils the TC clutch. Americans have always said you need to change the ATF in 30,000 miles in a Honda automatic transmission. The factory recommended interval is 75,000. It all makes sense now.

The Civic's torque converter was replaced under warranty even tho the standard warranty was out. I'll have to pay for the CR-V one (€€€€€€). Luckily they have refurbished converters on the shelf. Looks like the problem is more widespread than I suspected.
