Hi guys,

I have machined off a few tow hooks that are suitable for the rear of the Civic.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in these?

These are made from 12mm Aluminium on a water cutter so the finish is outstanding and they should be stronger than your typical Benen type hook which I beleive to be about 8-9mm thick.

I was thinking about pricing them at £20 plus P+P but before I do a traders thread I want to know if anyone is interested or would like to offer advice on pricing etc...

Oh for liability purposes, (of which I am unsure how I stand so better to be safe than sorry).
I would accept no responsibility for any damage caused to any car while using these, as stated the machine and material quality should outmatch others but seen as how I dont have the massive cash and insurance backing these are "for show purposes".

I will set up a traders thread once I have confirmation of price at £20

These would be made to order to avoid surplus stock which wont shift, so would everyone be ok waiting say 2 days for machining and standard postage, I suppose whatever you prefer 1st or 2nd class. I will provide prices for each.

Look very good mate, nice work. I would be interested but i already have a password jdm one. i do advise these not only because they are JDM as but if you reverse and there is a high curb they save your rear bumper and only put a small mark on your hook

Review

Judd asked me to post this up once I had put it on my Civic.

First impressions VERY strong...yet very light.. will weigh it later!

Look well finished and tidy!

installation is certainly very easy... I installed it just to play and check its strength I can assure you I tightened the bolts quite tight and the result was the car would bounce but the tow hook wouldn't budge..with all my weight (+ Christmas padding)

More importantly...here are the pics:

I have removed it to paint it...still not decided on the colour....

Definite recommendation for the product...and Judd is a great guy..even if he has the type s interior..grrr

What paint you gone for? You painting the wheels yourself? Or at a powder coaters?
